A true winter warmer, crafted to see you through the longest, darkest nights of the year. A little like George Clooney, this beer has benefitted from a significant aging process, resulting in a malty ale with notes of toasted chestnut, dried currents and a hint of spice. Cask conditioned for 2-months.

10/4/2026. Cask at the Isle of Man CAMRA 13th Beer & Cider Festival. Good pour. Aroma is black treacle, liquorice, roasted malts, dark fruits, dried fruits, musty chestnuts, hint of marmite. Moderately sweet. Good body. Smooth. Low carbonation. More musty notes to finish, with some spiciness. Good old.
