Bibo (pronounced bēbō) is a true pilsner with ingredients from five different countries that has a pronounced continental hop flavor and aroma in an incredibly well-balanced package. We use an enormous amount of the classic Czech Saaz and a touch of Motueka hops from New Zealand to put a new world twist on this beautiful old world style. Motueka offers a subtle pineapple note that underlies a harmony of the traditional black pepper, herbal, and cracker grain character pilsners are famous for. Bibo is dry, quenching, and frankly amazingly delicious.

Taste comprises pale malts, bread dough, light lemon juice, grass, toasted grains, cereals, faint hop. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Decent clean drinking hoppy pils.

Draft at Southern Grist 3rd Anniversary. Pours a clear straw with a finger of foam that lingers. Grainy nose with some orange and pithy citrus aromas. Smooth, crisp and clean on the palate. Light peppery bitterness and faint tropical fruit notes.

Can (Five Point Bottle Shop). Hazy yellow colour, medium-sized white head. Grain, lime peel in the nose. Light-bodied. Grainy, lime peely, pils malty. Not really isl but classic pilsener. Ok but overrated.

Strong pils from Creature Comforts, a balanced blend of crackers and flowers and grass and bread, like you spilled your picnic basket on a sun-dappled meadow and ate everything straight off the ground. Mild lemon-apple notes percolate underneath the grainy exterior, while the finish grows herbal with hints of pepper and soap. Pours a lovely pale yellow with a bright white head and spotty lacing. Nose is a familiar blend of Saaz and bread, with mild citrus on the edges. Perky, easy-drinking texture is perfect pilsner. Good beer.
