Peanut hull and tea nose. Clear copper, thick sticky yellow head, abundant lacing. Whole overripe orange, dark honey. Some oxidation. Full body, resinous, and smooth. Alcohol not the least bit noticeable. Big, but incredibly well balanced. The most poundable 10%+ beer I’ve ever had.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a hazy brown-orange color with a medium sized foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet with sour caramel, pine, and vague fruity hops. The flavor was bitter and tangy with sour caramel, crisp fruity hops, pine, orange, wood and tobacco. Long finish. Alcohol well contained. Full bodied and syrupy. Interesting.
