Rose Colored Glasses is kettle soured and a very refreshing ale. 100% natural raspberry puree is added in the fermenter which provides a red hue and slight sweetness. A touch of tartness that is very pleasing to the pallet. This is a light sour ale, with amazing fruit flavors!

Appearance: semi-bright red color with a quarter finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: semi-bright sweet to tart raspberry tones with a subtle lemon acidity underneath and a little bit of yeasty sweetness
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to tart quality initially then develops a light sour character with more warmth; finishes semi-tart with ample raspberry sweetness
Texture: light to medium bodied; slightly sessionable; super slight smoothness but a touch of tartness nicking the tongue ever so slightly; good carb level
Overall: not bad, I do believe I would return to this one.
