Traditionally brewed for Oktoberfest, Festbier is less malty and full bodied than the more ubiquitous Oktoberfest style, Märzen. Our Festbier features heirloom German malts along with 100% Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops for a classic pale German lager character. Festbier is brewed to be easily sessionable yet hearty enough to pair with your favorite Oktoberfest dishes.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to mug.
Appearance: copper color with a three finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: smooth earthy hop notes with wet grains and a touch of floral hops in the middle and then a delicate spicy note comes in then some biscuity tones underneath
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to semi-bitter and subtly spicy conglomeration; finishes about the same with a light crisp note and spicy to semi-earthy quality
Texture: light to medium bodied; very sessionable; great smoothness along the tongue with nothing distracting and good carb level
Overall: a very nicely done Festbier I would return to.
