Upper Valley Lager is a clean and balanced lager heavily inspired by its European counterparts. In keeping with Czech brewing tradition, Upper Valley Lager is double-decocted, naturally carbonated, and lagered for several weeks prior to packaging. In addition to using the finest Czech-grown malt and hops, we keep it local by using a healthy addition of regionally grown and malted pilsner malt.

Can to lager glass.
Appearance: glossy yellow color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely and left some sticky lace
Aroma: sweet to slightly spicy to subtle peppery hop notes of floral to earthy tones with a little bit of snap to them; light malty backbone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to spicy tone; finishes about the same with a light dryness
Texture: light to medium bodied; great sessionability; good smoothness with nothing distracting
Overall: pretty nicely done Czech pilsener I would return to.
