How often do you think about the Roman Empire?
For us lately, it’s been a lot.
Inspired by Roman Anthony of the Boston Red Sox, Roman Empire is a nod to history, both ancient and a little closer to home, wrapped in a familiar shade of green. This light-bodied IPA is hopped with Citra and Nectaron and opens with fresh grapefruit and ripe nectarine, layered with soft tropical notes, and finishes smooth with balanced bitterness.
Bright, citrus-forward, and easy-drinking, it’s built for long innings, sunny afternoons, and thinking about baseball more than you probably should.

The nose is pineapple forward with very light notes of pineapple and papaya.
The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Pineapple forward but dry yet juicy with light notes of papaya and guava underneath followed by more dry but juicy pineapple and papaya on the finish. Fantastic.

Pours lightly murky yellow gold into a tulip. White head with medium retention recedes leaving sheet lacing. Hot lemon and mild allium aromas. Meaty with white grape and mild allium front to back. Medium length allium finish.
