Sampled from a 22 oz can this beer poured a black color with an enormous foamy brown head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was dryish and toasty with a cola presence. The flavor was bitter and dryish with coffee, wood , cola and a bit of mustiness. Long finish. Medium body. Disappointing.

On tap at the bocktown, nice place but a somewhat rude beer this is. Very dark with a creamy head that promotes attractive lacing. Surprizingly just a clean beer smell. Barely any co2 in this stuff. Practically flat. Taste is difficult for a saison. Must be quite alky strong. Can’t find many saison attributes but I’m no saison expert, hehehehh. Bitter medicinal feel for a finish, not impressed.
