Cask at Petersgate Tap, Stockport. Pours golden amber with small foamy off-white head and good lacing. There’s oranges and peel in the aroma plus traces of biscuits and citrus. In the mouth it is quite bitter but with a little underlying sweetness and a creamy texture. Flavours are mixed hops, oranges, grains and marmalade with some spicy hints coming later. Finish is quite dry. This is decent – but not very pale !
