Brewed for the 2024 Craft Beer & Brewing Magazine Brewer’s Retreat and in collaboration with Allagash Brewing. This beer is a blend of Allagash Gatherwell bourbon-barrel-aged stout, and a DFH-brewed, Sagamore rye barrel-aged imperial porter aged on spices.

Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting XVI (Last Call) on 10/09/2025. Brown-black pour with a medium thin beige head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Small patches of lace. Malty and spicy aroma with bourbon and fruit undertones. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, chocolate malt, ginger, cinnamon and mildly spiced peppers. The finish is oaky with a spicy and malty aftertaste. Busy for sure, but a good beer overall.
