Aroma: sweet lychee to melon to white grape to subtle notes of sweet lemon pulp; light clean malts and a touch of mixed berry sort of sweetness and a super lighter note of honey – what an absolutely lovely smell!
Flavor: leads mostly with the melon to lychee and white grapey hop tones as the lemon sweetness seems to have disappeared; finishes sweet-ish but not sticky in a lean sort of way
Texture: light to medium bodied; very sessionable; very smooth along the tongue; good level of carb for an APA – hmmmm…maybe a touch under
Overall: wish I could rate a beer solely on aromas as this one would score through the roof; however, everything else was well executed and I would love to have this again.
