The Wilderness is a short woodland trail which connects the village of Norton and Welbeck Abbey. The name suggests it is untamed, but it contains elegant beech trees and great oaks which tower above peacefully grazing livestock.
This hazy NEIPA may be our first, but the brewers have created a balanced beauty. Initially tropical on the nose from Ekuanot and Idaho 7 hops, the subtle mango flavour soon fades into sweetness from the malt and high alcohol. A velvety soft texture from oats creates a rounded drink with great depth of flavour.
