Pours pale golden with some haziness (a bit more than usual per style). Doesn't get much head; holds decently with limited lacing. Average intensity in a quite simple aroma: cerealy malt base with white bread softness taking a bit of edge, hints of chamomille and perhaps honey, a quite vivid lemonish undernote. Taste notes follow the aroma closely: delicate, soft maltiness with white bread most noticeable, delicate sweet notes on the background (chamomille most noticeable), a refreshing lemonish note, perhaps just a hint of grassiness in finish/aftertaste. Definitely a kellerbier in style, but not as rustic as you'd expect from the "rustic lager" labeling. Slightly below medium sweetness, quite low bitterness; sweetish in the overall balance, but in a delicate, not unpleasant way. Pretty light in body, with low to average delicate carbonation; drinks very easy with a smooth, slick feel. A pleasant one on the overall, could have used a bit more complexity.
