Golden with a medium sized white head. Tangy and slightly grainy with a hint of perfume. Medium finish and body.

From old tasting notes. Pale yellow gold color. Creamy white head. Fragrant chalky malt aroma. Light grainy malt flavor upfront. Highly carbonated. Slightly sour midtaste. Light hop finish with a brief dry aftertaste. Flavorful for a light beer.

What can a guy say about Michelob Light? It’s a light yellow colored, white foam capped, pale lager that has been mass produced for 40 years. They were big on marketing to golf when I worked in business, probably still are. I’ve had a few more of these over the years than I care to admit. It’s easy drinking and non-offensive, on par with most of the macros, maybe a little better than most.

Backlog. Lighter version of the original. Too sweet and watery. Cardboard and light corn. No thanks.

Another beer of my youth. For some reason we felt that Michelob was a classier beer than most of the other lagers around, I’m not sure why. We must’ve been victims of advertising.
