Hoppy. Dank. Hazy. One of our most popular offerings, Hazy Whaler is a bit of a Enigma. Most people who tell you they love it aren’t exactly sure why. It’s an IPA to be sure, but it blurs the lines a bit and offers a softer bitterness, less malt character and a more fruit forward hop profile than a traditional IPA, but it isn’t quite a NEIPA either. Anyways, we’ll let you decide. Flavours of stone fruit, citrus, and resin rest on a light malty backbone. Classic pairings include blue cheese, spicy foods and pizza. Best served in a pint or IPA glass.

Poured from 473mL can (packaged Sept 21, 2020 so a few months in the fridge). Hazy light brownish orange with minimal white head. Oily citrus hops, mild resinous finish, some biscuit malt with a subtle sweetness. Overall it's fine, but nothing that stands out in any way.

Smells bigly of grassy hops, the best grassy hops and some heavy sugarcane thrown in there to emphasize it. The liquid is orange, very orange, the best kind of orange and very little head on top. The flavour is heavy oily juicy hops, nothing else, and a very sharp mouthfeel. On the heavier side of the IPA spectrum, not bad, not showing discipline.
