A true lambik! This lambik was taken straight from foeder n #6, a 7,500 litre French oak ex-Barolo barrel. Three consecutive brews went onto these barrels. The first one was brewed on the 19th of November 2019. At the moment of emptying the barrel, the lambik was almost 4.5 years old. That is more than 53 months. All brews were crafted with the typical proportions of raw wheat and malted barley, except for one, where we used an - almost - full malt bill. All hops that were used - both Challenger and Hallertau - were more than 17 years old, some even 22 years old.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Tart aroma. Light sour and very light acetic flavor with light oak and light citrus. Medium bodied. Light sourness and very light acetic notes linger with light oak and light citrus. Nothing overly strong, just mellow. Wine notes in flavor and backend.
