Thunder Ann is brewed to highlight beautiful citrusy American hops. She comes off almost tropical; people will find notes of apricot and mango in addition to the citrus bouquet. Honey and biscuit malts contribute to the body as well, making it a friendly, yet bold American Pale Ale.

16 oz nonic draft at the Jackalope Brewing Company Taproom in Nashville, Tennessee. The pour is a mostly clear golden with a small white head that has nice lace. The aroma is faint, some tropical fruit and some caramel. The taste is nice with bright citrus pineapple fruit along with some hay and herbal. The palate is medium bodied with natural carbonation and a soft bitter hop resin and mineral finish.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has notes of grass and earthy citrus with a grain backbone. Flavor has lots of straw and grass with citrus and grains supporting.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a nice light gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Piney nose with caramel and faint citrus. Bitter on the palate, semi-sweet and dry bitterness. Just average, but not bad by any means.
