Thunder Ann is brewed to highlight beautiful citrusy American hops. She comes off almost tropical; people will find notes of apricot and mango in addition to the citrus bouquet. Honey and biscuit malts contribute to the body as well, making it a friendly, yet bold American Pale Ale.

Keg at the brewery tap. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Somewhat malt-forward, with a bit of pale bread, tangerine. Light-medium sweet flavour with more citrusy hops, bready sugars, low bitterness, some orange rind. Light bodied with average carboantion and creamy texture. Nicely balanced on the finish, with further tangerine, pale bread, very slight pine. Easy-drinking stuff.

On draught at Puckett’s Grocery in Franklin. The beer pours a very hazy orange color with a medium foamy white head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with a moderately bitter hops character that has fruity and floral notes. Some sweet malt in the background. The finish is hoppy with a citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.
