A unique beer brewed with rye malt and honey. The character of this golden, lightly hopped beer is amazingly dry. Honey flavor, but no honey sweetness. The recipe was developed with Ray Daniels, 1998 North American Guild of Beer Writers, Beer Writer of the Year. ABV 6.04, IBU 14

From tap at Boscos, Memphis. Nice bready grainy aroma with rye, soft unintrusive honey, and some wheaty dough. Mild fruity citrus tones, bittersweetish flavour. Almost medium body. Not very exciting, but actually decent.

Draft in Little Rock. Clear. Right golden color, thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of sweet, sticky bitter straw. Taste is similar. Hmmm.

(On tap) Memphis. Pale amber with a small, off-white head. Distinct, soft honey aroma. Rather light body with mellow accents of malt and a vague underlying sweetness. A very smooth and accessible beer with a subdued bitterness. 280306
