Geuze Oud Beersel – Reborn – Draft Version is a draft geuze from the Reborn project, created to celebrate 20 years since the reopening of Oud Beersel. Reborn was shaped through shared tastings and collective selection—an collaboration centred on the art of blending, driven by a passion for lambic and the pursuit of one distinctive, elegant geuze.
The blend combines lambic with a pronounced vanilla note from Demi-Muids (630 L) with younger lambic from Oude Pijpen (650 L). That combination brings extra character: the younger lambic from the pijpen adds tension and depth to the more refined demi-muids base. On draft, Reborn shows its most expressive, lively side—made to share and celebrate.

Draught Small, if persistent dense white head over hazy yellow-orange beer. Old wood, lambic drenched; lemon, lactic, restrained horseblankte, marigolds or lilies. Very dry woody flavour, straw, again restrained horseblanket. Lemon(peel), yuzu. Lipsmacking acidity, dry, acidthinning and (mild) -burn. Quite wheatslick. Very good gueuze indeed. But I'm totally at a loss what might represent the international contributions.
