Bottle 448/500 shared by noodleuser at the DC Summer Saison & Sour Tasting, 7/12/14. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of tropical fruit, biscuit malt, spice, herbal hops, mild tartness. The taste is tart tropical fruits, pale malt, spice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation.

Bottle courtesy of noodleuser, thanks! Cloudy golden yellow color, bright white head. Aroma of pink flowery feet and perfume. That’s what my notes say anyway, I don’t understand it either. Taste is softly tart lemon, berries.

Super cloudy hazy blonde, nice 3 finger head but fades fast. Smell is very taught..like an earthy bitter pine oak with birch and some sweetness. very earthy and tart. Taste reminds me more of an american pale ale mixed with a wheat beer gone sour. Nice body, tart finish.

Nice light Berliner weisse. Pours cloudy pale, consistent for style. Light raspberry and good stuff overall. Light sour finish, lighter than many of style. Thanks to noodleuser.

Sampled on draft at Hou Thou this beer poured a very cloudy pale yellow color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded quickly and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was dry, chalky and a bit tart with lemon and a bit of cracker. The flavor was tart, sour, tangy and lactic with notes of lemon and bread dough. Medium length tangy sour and lactic lemon and bread dough finish. Medium body. Solid.
