Decadent and complex, a beer-cider hybrid brewed with cinnamon, cardamom, clove, nutmeg, and vanilla then conditioned on Okanagan Apple Juice.

The goal with Missile and the Abominable Apple was to create a liquid Apple Pie. The base beer is a heavily wheated ale with a strong mid-section malt profile (think munich and dark munich malts). We then boiled the beer for four hours to naturally caramelize the sugars, and contribute a richer darker colour to the beer. Towards the end of the boil, we steeped the wort in Cinnamon, Cardamom, Nutmeg, and Clove and a sizable addition of Calypso hops (known for their pear, apple, and stone fruit notes).
