Help! We mixed a little honey into our Kölsch, added peaches and strawberries, and now the bees are swarming overtime! Honestly? Fair. This blushing, one-off twist on our liquid-gold staple was inspired by real life bees snoozing atop flowers before sunrise and apparently fruit stands too. Brewed with traditional malts and hops from Cologne, soft water, wildflower honey from Stonewall Apiary and a careful hand with the added fruit, it keeps the soft, floral balance of the original. The result is the same fall-asleep-in-a-field-of-flowers kind of beer you've come to love-just with a little extra sunshine courtesy of peaches and strawberries.

Can to lager glass.
Appearance: burnt orange color with a slight chill haze to it and a finger's worth of white frothy head which settled off at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet strawberries with a sly tartness underneath and a lighter note of sweet peach but that tartness seems way lighter and the honey - well, that's so faint I had a super hard time of finding that
Flavor: peaches seem to be in front of everything else here - somewhat sweet and tart then the honey seems more intertwined with the strawberry sweet and tart characters; finishes mostly peachy sweet with a slight tart note and a pinch of honey
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; pretty smooth along the tongue; carb seems a bit lower than expected but that didn't seem to bother me
Overall: works as a fruit beer but if there was a Kölsch in this, I believe I missed that. I believe I could still return to this. It's well brewed.

Aromas are malt, strawberry and peach. Flavors are similar to nose with a strawberry and peach being mild. Maybe I can pick out some honey. Basically it's a mildly flavored kolsch.
