Location: Draft at Ginger Man - Houston, 7/23/13
Aroma: The nose is on the lighter side, but is has some nice, clean hops
Appearance: This one pours a nice, copper color, with a fairly small head
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet and medium bitter, decent hop feel for an English IPA
Palate: It has a medium body, a clean, crisp feel, and a medium dry finish
Overall Impression: My first rating from Squatters/Salt Lake Brewing. Nice, clean, easy drinking IPA. What's not to enjoy here?

Pours a copper-orange with mid-sized head. Flavor is very grassy, with lots of malt (almost too much so) in the background. Some hop bitterness. Aroma of malt and hops. Nice bitter finish.

A surprisingly good ipa. Light orange color and well carbonated. Dry hops aroma, but flavor has some bread, dry malt, and herbal, grassy hops. Lightly sweet finish.

12 oz. bottle at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of piney hops that dominates with just enough malt to back. Flavour of piney hops, some caramel malt to back, with a fairly dry mouthfeel. Standard, but well-made IPA. Good.

Dull gold-beige. The aroma is a mix of limey citrus and stale hops. Earthy taste, quite stale, oxidized. Really this cannot be in good form. I guess they (or their NM distributor) thought using a beer fest as a dumping ground was a good idea. Er, no, that’s where people go to form opinions about your beer.
