As summer approaches rapidly, Pilsner is constantly on our minds. We concocted this magically crisp elixir with the goal of providing pure refreshment. We loaded the whirlpool up with a ridiculous amount of German grown Hallertau Mittelfruh and Saphir hops, then gently dry hopped with more Saphir bringing lightly floral and herbal aromatics with a touch of citrus. Post fermentation this tasty little number was lagered at near freezing temps for 5 weeks. High carbonation and a light body are accompanied by a moderate bitterness that leaves you longing for another swig.
