Situated just across from 40 acres of Rogue hops, 19 colonies of bees were carefully kept and fed. Their honey was extracted, filtered and brewed as a jasmin-infused Mead.
Brewed with 5 ingredients: Rogue Hopyard Honey, Wild Flower Honey, Jasmin Silver Tip Green Tea Leaves, Champagne Yeast, & Free Range Coastal Water.

Wish I checked the ratings first. This is not meant to be a good mead. Instead is meant to be a bad cider. They just want to make a chugable gluten free alcoholic beverage instead of a mead.

Bottle 22fl.oz. @ [ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2015 (TEODRBSG15) ] - fonefan & Brugmansia House, Denmark. [ As Rogue Farms 19 Original Colonies Mead ].Clear light medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, pale malt - herbal, moderate honey, nectar, flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average duration, honey, nectar, flowers, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150829]

Bottle at Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2015, Ulfborg. Pours clear golden with a medium off white head. Aroma of honey, floral notes, perfume and malt. Flavour is light heavy sweet. Medium bodied with flat carbonation.

So this is my very first experience with Mead. Yeah, I’m sure I could have selected a sexier mead to have for my first, but I’ve known Rogue for a really long time now, and I’d say we are comfortable with each other, and it felt right. 22 ounce bottle purchased at the Rogue Issaquah brew house. Very inexpensive, which sold me, because when it comes to mead, that makes this unique right from the start. Pours a cloudy peach color with a sweet herbal tea aroma. Flavor is rich honey, and big floral. Very interesting drink here, and not really what I expected, even though I’m not sure what I was expecting in the first place. Very easy drinking, floral, fruit juice. Not bad.
