West Coast Pilsner

Prysma hop oil delivers an extra punch of Citra to this crisp, golden West Coast Pilsner. Brewed with friends at Hops Connect, La Cerveceria Astilleros, and Strathcona, it's built on Weyermann Pilsner malt with Golden Naked Oats for subtle depth. Cascade and Amarillo bring orange zest, grapefruit, and tropical notes. Clean, aromatic, and crushable.

On tap at The Magnet. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has earthy grass and straw with some bread and earthy hay backing. Flavor has earthy straw and earthy grain with some bread and hay backing.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear yellow gold with small white head. Muted grapefruit hops with a pithy rind finish, grainy pils malt, average.

473mL can. Pours clear light gold with a short-lived white head. Plenty of dry allium on the nose, maybe some hints of citrus peels. Flavour is of dry, oniony allium, dry grass, a hint of pine and orange zest. Decently bitter. Carbonation is pretty low. Not great; the hop expression is pretty muddled with too much of it coming from the Citra and the carbonation should be a bit sharper. Otherwise, it's pretty clean.
