This is the second stop in the UNCHARTED OUTPOSTS series — a travelling project where Uncharted Brew Co takes full creative control on hijacked stainless.

Brewed at our heavenly friends of Hophemel for the 2026 Beer Experience Festival, UNCHARTED HOP MINER is a Black West Coast IPA that digs deep. It’s sharp and dry in the glass, bursting with grapefruit zest and sticky pine, finishing with a tight, assertive bitterness that stays raw and unpolished — pure underground energy.

Whirlpool: Cascade/Amarillo
Dry Hop: Cascade/Citra/Centennial

Other tanks, same burning fuel.

Fast gone cream head over deep reddish, very dark brown beer. Straw, coal, hopoil galore, hints at some exotic fruit, haybales. Sweetish, light ashy roast with again lots of hay, some fruity esters and lots of New World hops. Bananapeel, bit of resin. Medium bodied, quite slick/oily; light to medium carbonation. Quite good IBA, and especially the nose is excellent.

330ml can. Jet black colour with small to average, frothy, diminishing, off-white head. Roasty, dark malty and herbal-grassy, hoppy aroma, hints of coffee and menthol. Taste dito.
Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, soft carbonation.
Earthy, herbal, oily - nice.

33cl can @ Borger Bottles, BB 13/03/2027. Batch# HH-26002.
