Mum/Mumme is an old German ale. We based this on herbs and additions described in a 19th century book.
The result is an almost barley wine or quad-like, but with some hints of spice and savoury that give it an unusual twist. Barrel-aged, this beer has mellowed, with brandy warmth and woody complexity.
