Bright and astringently sour. The lavender and lemon tone are nice. Kind of lacks the subtlety and finesse of most of their stuff. Just oversoured. OK.

From tap at the brewery. Light hazy orange color with small off white head. Yeast aroma, salty notes, floral, spicy, fruity, tart citrus. Light sweet, light salty, bitter and acidic taste. Light oily body with soft carbonation.

Draft at brewery. You'd think with a beer named like this it would be a saison. But that's just me. Cloudy pale, looks like a Gose. If you look hard the French lavender can be found in aroma. It's sort of a sweet soap. Lemon and tartness abound. Though the French baked soap is nice. Flavor is again overly tart where it overtakes the other aspects of the beer. Hard to say if it's salty or briney. I also would prefer coriander over lemon peel.

Can thanks to Chow. Pours a hazy yellow gold with no head. The aroma is strong lavender, citrus, wheat, sea salt. Thin body, tart lemon, wheat, salty finish, good.
