Running. Sneakers. Craft beer.
Ale Max connects 3 cultures together in one crisp, post-run pour. Inspired by the AIR MAX 90 Volt, the beer is an ultra-refreshing blonde ale brewed with lemon peel & a touch of sea salt. Built for recovery, community & the next lap.
Brewed in collaboration with Ale Max & Soul Mega.

Can never complain when we get Bluejacket here in Vermont.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: burnt dark yellow color with half a finger of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace; some light particles seem to be floating in and around the glass (part of me thinks maybe it was the lemon peel? honestly, I don't know)
Aroma: definitely the lemon peel up front with a pinch of lime-like hoppy tones; clean malts underneath
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet sort of blend and a super light hint of salt adds an even subtler note to the mix; finishes lime-ish to lemony bitter to bittersweet
Texture: light to medium bodied; very sessionable; some smoothness with a sly refreshing sort of aspect (I guess the salt comes back here to add that refreshing part); good carb level and medium to low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: a hazy blonde ale with a refreshing tone to it that I believe I would return to.
