Soft gold in the glass with a clean, steady head, this one leans into smoke without losing its footing. Brewed entirely with beechwood-smoked malt, from Weyermann Specialty Malts, it carries a gentle campfire aroma, think more glowing embers than raging fire, layered over a crisp, pale lager base. Light-bodied and refreshing, it finishes dry with just enough lingering smoke to keep you coming back for another sip. A love letter to the beers of Bamberg we continue to find ourselves thinking about.

Pint can pours with a crystal clear pure gold body that supports a nice white. The aroma offers up inviting levels of beachwood malt smokiness with hints of yeasty fruity esters and spicy to floral hops. The taste delivers a fair level of malt smokiness that has the hint of pork and bacon goodness. To midway it picks up spicy bitter hoppiness that achieves pleasing hop flavor depth as well. This is working great with full round flavor and ending fairly dry with lingering smooth smokiness into the after taste.
