No haze. No softness. No apologies. My Besty Is A Westy is a 6.9% American IPA built the proper way...lean malt bill, firm bitterness, and hops doing the talking from start to finish. Whirlpool additions of Chinook & Cascade lay down that classic West Coast spine: pine needles, grapefruit zest, subtle resin and a touch of old-school bite. Then it gets loud. Dry hopped with Citra, Idaho 7 & Amarillo for bright citrus oil, ripe orange, a flash of tropical fruit and just enough dank edge to keep it grounded. It finishes crisp, snappy and dry...exactly how it should. Because sometimes your best mate isn’t hazy. It’s sharp, bitter, and straight to the point.

Draught Very good white head, dense, over fully hazy ochre beer, fine lace. Classic fruity nose, very faint ureum, bit of resin. Bitterish, resiny and dry fruit(peel). Bit unidimensional. Faint hopoil slickness, medium carbonation, light body. A bit dull-ish, certainly for already 6.9%.
