This oatmeal stout will remind you of a nice bowl of oatmeal with the addition of brown sugar and local maple syrup from Gemberling's Maple Tree Farm which has been tapping their maple trees for nearly a century.
The iconic Forest Lodge, surrounded by a grove of oak and maple trees, is located in Elm Hill Park. The construction of the brick and stone Forest Lodge was completed in 1934 as a public works project. The previous owner of the land, Arthur Marks, executive of B.F. Goodrich who invented the vulcanization process, unloaded the property which included an old hunting cabin in 1919 to Elm Hill Estates Co. and sold his nearby mansion to the Sisters of St. Dominic, who renamed it to Our Lady of the Elms
