Small, if very stable snowwhite head over clear copperish metallic golden beer. Rather neutral nose, white candi sugar, alcohol, boozy aroma. Sweet-ish, boozy, alcohol, white candi sugar, whitebread, caramel, slightly scorched sugar, rum, sultanas. "Hot" malty, boozy with alcoholheat, but feeling empty. Rum is a dangerous to age beer in - and certainly lighter coloured beer. Hercule would have been a much better candidate for these barrels. Txs to Stef!
