Cask at GBBF 2015, Olympia, London. A golden/amber coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Hoppy, fruity, caramel aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, fruity, caramel. Would like to try this from the bottle, not suited to cask.

Bottle from GBBF 2015 and drunk at home. Amber colour slight haze, lasting beige head. Big fresh tropical hop aroma. It’s certainly got lots of hops, some tea like quality. It is like putting your nose into a bag of hops. It is quite spectacular. Too hoppy? possibly. Bitter finish. Good mouthfeel. I mean it’s well made and hardly puts a foot wrong. As a big hoppy IPA it is very good, it just depends if you like it. I’m in two minds. Overall yes it’s very good, but is it as good as Kernel IPAs. This is less fruit and more hop flower. I prefer the Kernel fruit led IPAs. Big hops though. No doubt.

Pours a clear golden yellow, with mid-sized head. Aroma is very powerful, with citrus and dank, catbox aromas mingling. The flavor doesn’t really live up to this--it’s too bitter, without much in the way of citrus or tropical fruit. I’m all in favor of companies rolling out another IPA, but this one just didn’t do it for me.

Bottle from Berts Bierhuis Biltstraat, best by not filled in, large sample. Clear golden color, medium frothy off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, citrus, bit grainy and biscuity malt. Medium bitter in taste, quite dry, bit biscuit. Quite dry in palate, lacking a bit body. Ok.
