Our limited English Barleywine that was aged for 12 months in Old Forester barrels and then aged additionally for four years. The beer was reconditioned on cherries, orange peel, cocoa-nibs and vanilla. This beer is only available at the DRBT and in our taproom in very limited quantities. The base beer is named Olde Voyager but this version is an Ode to the Denver Rare Beer Tasting and to Rick Lyke himself., without either our Head Brewer wouldn't be in the industry today.

Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting XVI (Last Call) on 10/09/2025. Clear orange-amber color with a thin ivory white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Aroma of malt, cherry and bourbon. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, boozy cherry, vanilla and malt. The finish is sweet and boozy with a bourbon-soaked cherry and vanilla aftertaste. Decent overall.
