It follows the style of the brown ales in the northern part of England. (British Style Brown Ale 2000 Gold Medal in World Beer Cup).

Keg at the brewpub, Nashville, 15/02/15. Clear chestnut brown/amber with a decent light beige cap. Nose is toffee, biscuit, light perfumed notes, fruit peel. Taste comprises biscuit, nutty tones, caramel, light floral notes, vanilla. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid brown number.

Bottle. Nutty chocolate toffee malt and straw aroma. Chestnut with small light tan head. Lightly sweet nutty toffee malt and mildly bitter herbal grass flavor. Very nice aroma but a bit of a let-down in the flavor department.

12 ounce bottle from Libation Station. Pours a clear bright dark red with a large frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of dark fruits, brown malts, nuts. The taste is toffee malts, red apple, dark fruits, citrus hops. Thin-medium bodied. Solid beer, exceeded my expectations.

Bottle at RBWG. Pours dark brown with off white head. Nose and taste of nuts, toasted grain and light pine. Lighter medium body.

Bottle - Roast malts and a bit of nut. Cloudy brown with a little brown head. Toasted malts and a bit of nuttiness, A decent if not average brown.

Bottle @ Beer Fart Dunegeon Aloft. Pours a red violet appearance with a tan head. Nutty pecan candy aroma. Fairly dei. Light paper. Bland toast flavor. Bleh.

Appearance: Pours clear brown with a medium sized beige head and good amount of lacing
Aroma: Mild aroma of toasted malts, nutty and caramel
Taste: Toasted malts, nutty with a light bitter hoppy finish
A nice brown ale
