This beer is named after one of our best friends and one of our first bartenders, Misa Kasikova. Misa is from the Czech Republic and is a big fan of Czech beers, especially Dark Lagers, so we brewed this beer for her. Aromas of chocolate and roast coffee give way to a malty sweetness with hints of dark stone fruit, and subtle spice notes from the hops round out this easy to drink lager.

On tap at Weird Window.
Poured into a becher glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in the color with a half a finger's worth of white foamy head which settled off at a nice pace
Aroma: semi-sweet dark fruity tones with a sly sweet coffee tone and a light milk chocolatey-ish quality; subtle earthy spice with a pinch of smooth roastiness
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to subtle earthy restrained bitterness; subjugated chocolatey sweetness; and a semi-crisp and smooth dark fruity finish
Texture: light to medium bodied; very sessionable; very smooth along the tongue; good carb level
Overall: really liked the fact that there wasn't any excessive ashy dryness I often find in many dark lagers by American brewers, this guy is very smooth and warranted more pours if I had the chance to spend more time there.
