Searching for Tomorrow is a blend of mixed-culture dark ales, foeder fermented and wine barrel aged prior to a long fermentation on whole fruit blackberries at a ratio of nearly three pounds of fruit per gallon of beer. On tap at Webb’s City Cellars, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma has deep red wine barrels tannins, wood, dark red fruits, some tartness, and wild yeast. Flavour reveals overripe red fruits, some tannins, oak, red wine, and wild yeast. Blended well, with great wild yeast expression and barrel character. Very good.
