Sunglow turned up to eleven. We took our double decocted Hefeweizen and pushed it further. More malt, more notes of banana cream pie, nore of that gentle spice that makes this style so satisfying. Afterglow is richer, fuller, and just a little more indulgent. Same sunshine, longer lasting.

Their description is accurate. Heffy at 11. Enjoyed, but a bit too rich for me. I might enjoy it as a dessert.

Poured from 568mL can. Hazed dark orange gold with off-white head. Lots of banana esters, maybe verging on too much, soft spice and booze, wheat underlay. Decent.
