Dark, malty, fulfilling….ahhhhh, we just drooled on the keyboard. Oh wait, that was Nate. This brown ale features specially kilned malts that accentuate the toasted nuttiness that barley can offer. In addition to the malts, a proprietary blend of special nuts is included during the brewing process for a unique brew. Nate’s too young to comment, but you’ll be NUTS about this beer! Malts: American Pale, Victory, Chocolate, Roasted Barley. Hops: Vanguard. Yeast: London Ale.

Keg at Apothecary Morgantown. Clear dark brown, large creamy tan head good retention. Aroma of nuts, stone fruit, roast. Taste is nuts, chocolate, cherries. Thin, a lingering tartness that seems out of place. Still solid.

Brown color. Aresol, plastic aroma. Flavor less so and is a weak, malt water brown. Not impressive.

On tap at PNP Charleston, WV. Translucent dark brown with small light brown head. Aroma is nutty, medium body, low carbonation, and good small-bubble lacing. Taste is dark malt and some nuts. Easy to drink, good.

Draft. Hazy maroon brown color, bright tan head. Aroma of taffy and toffee. Taste is sour nutella. Hmmm.
