Our medium-bodied, aromatic, dry-hopped pale ale is loaded with lush and tropical hop character. Not quite an IPA, but more pungent than a typical pale ale. Juicy with aromas of citrus and stone fruit.

Location: Draft at Right Proper, 5/24/14
Aroma: This one has a clean and hoppy nose, with some fruit and yeast to it
Appearance: It pours a murky orange color, with a white head, and some spotty lace
Flavor: Clean and lightly bitter, fresh flavor, with a nice yeast component
Palate: It has a light/clean feel, average carbonation, and a mid-dry finish
Overall Impression: Tasty stuff. There's a consistency to the flavor/yeast profile of all the Right Proper beers I tried that works really nicely.

Tap at Right Proper. Poured a cloudy orange color with a medium sized slightly off-white head. Aroma was nice citrus notes, tropical fruits - nice balanced caramel notes. Very enjoyable grapefruits, light lemon, pine notes - good notes from the hops. Pretty darn tasty. Refreshing. Clean.

Great sharp piney and citrus taste. Orange pour with good head and lacing. Bitter finish. Awesome pale ale. Some hay and grass here also. Tap at brewpub.

Draft at Right Proper. Pours a cloudy honey orange with half a finger of off-white head. Nice lacing. Smells of citrus, caramel. Don’t know if it was the beer or the standard pint glass used but I couldn’t get a better smell of the aromas. Tastes of grapefruit, pine, resin, piney hops. Medium body.

Draft at the source, opening night. Hazy light amber color, thick creamy off white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of bright pine. Taste is bitter pine resin, caramel. Tasty. 8-4-8-3-13-3.6. Second batch, tasted on the recommendation of Nathan, thank you sir! Draft. Lighter color, more of a hazy straw. Aroma of dusty perfume and flowers. Taste is less bitter than the first batch, more floral and citrus, so e dusty funkiness, much better balance. Delicious.

16oz pour at the brewery. Mostly clear gold with some thin white head. Nose has lots of tropical fruit, some unripened plum, peach, apricot marmalade. Flavor again has peach, apricot, a distinct gristy character, tropical fruit, yeast. Doesn’t remind me of a pale at all. Clean finish. Very much a hybrid.
