I was expecting an amber ale, not an amber lager, and was generally disappointed with the results. There were some nice honey, nougat and caramel aromas, but the palate was thin and the taste dominated by raw grains and a fairly unpleasant

Abita Amber 4.5% tap at First Draft for the State tick. Pouring more copper gold than Amber with a malty honey biscuit nose that may contain hints of diacetyl. Decent malt forward Amber type flavor but also has a salty sweet edge to it which is odd but overall ok.
