aroma is dark chocolaate, chocolate cake, roasted malts. faint vanilla as part of the chocolate cake. aroma is strong, bordering slightly boozy and powerful, full bodied, solid.
This one was crazy expensive , i think 300 to 500 dkk ish' for 37cl
Flavor is chocolate cake, dark chocolate, peppery note like bit of chili added, sweet nutty note- very balanced, blended and quite velvety - although the alc. can be tasted. alc still hidden well for a 15%er and especially the less interesting aspects of alc are nearly totally hidden. super tasty and top-of-the-shelf well done. pastry imp stouts does not get much better than this. The barrelling has added a lot of character but not at all taken over - super well balanced for a BA beer.
