American Pale Ales can run the gamut from somewhat malty but bitter with subdued hop aromas to significant hop bitterness, flavor, and aromas. We typically fall on the hoppier side with generous amounts of Columbus, Centennial, and Cascade hops supported by a malt bill of domestic 2-row pale malt with a touch of medium crystal malt. We dry hop with Citra and Cascade hops (from our own vines when available). The result is a moderate citrusy hop aroma (somewhat tropical from the Citra), with citrusy hop flavors and a body on the lighter side that is refreshing anytime.

Big hoppy citrus head. Pours golden clear with good head and lacing. Very good, drinkable, awesome for style. Great barley as well. Tap at Brewpub.

Draft at the garage brewery thanks to Elwood! Poured a nice hazy dark golden color with a nice white head. Aroma was notes of light tropical fruits with a nice pine resin note. Flavor was fruity, floral, and pretty darn tasty. This is Good! Nice and Hoppy!

Draft at the source courtesy of Elwood, thank you! Hazy deep golden amber color, fluffy off white head. Nice fruity aroma on a background of light pine. Taste is bright fruit. Easy drinking. I have a growler of this, so I may refine my rating based on a larger sample size.
