Part of the Edgar Allan Poe series. Your first experience is visual from the rocky white foam and lace, and then through extended dry hopping your senses pickup the citrus/flowery bouquet. The initial taste is subdued, but gradually becomes intense without any harsh bitterness. This American IPA is well balanced where the malt is as part of the flavor profile as that of the hops.

Bottle sample at a tasting at avrashi’s place. Thanks Rotem. Clear golden. Aroma of rather stale citric hops, graininess, and a bit of cardboard. Flavor has sweetiswh malt, graininess, and bitterish stale hops. Medium-bodied. Not too fresh.
