Originally known internally as Project Dolcitra, we spent the better part of five years and $5 million developing what we thought would be the ultimate Hazy IPA; and by five years we mean 5 minutes, and by $5 million we mean two free Slim Jims at hop selection. It's rare that hops rub that well, but we knew instantly, this new Dolcita hop has morphed into something truly special, and it would go perfectly with what was an incredible crop year for Citra. Consisting of equal parts and providing equally exquisite aromatics, these two prides of the pacific northwest create a monumental Hazy that drips with notes of juicy orange marmalade, dried and diced Royal Blenheim apricots, freshly made coconut cream, and hints of pepino melon.
