Deep within the arid climate of Washington’s Yakima Valley grows the Mosaic Hop, a newcomer that makes its debut in our pFriem Mosaic Single Hop Pale. This strong ale glows with an amber hue. Wafts of mango and citrus tease the senses just long enough before its assertive taste takes over with hits of lemon, pine and a slight tinge of blueberry. Make no mistake; this ale has a bright and tasty future.

Tap at pFriem, Hood River, 24/05/13. US rating #1,000. Clear golden with a big old white head. Nose is super fresh hops, grass, pine, citrus, bitter grapefruit. Taste comprises orange pith, bitter grapefruit, juicy hops, pine bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp finish with a good dose of hop bitterness. A great APA - up there with the best!!!

On tap at Bottleworks, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is very potent, full of herbal hops, hemp and some pine. Flavour matches similarly, with big notes of pot, herbal hops and pine. Extremely flavourful, with the hops coating the palate completely. Awesome stuff!

Draught. Lekker floral aroma. Wonderful hoppy taste without being a hop monster. Good finish, I would say a sweet hop, if there were such a thing

Sample from firkin at the 6th Annual Rogue Firkin Fest at Green Dragon. The beer is a slightly murky golden color with a medium thick foamy white head that dissipates slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of oniony hops, citrus and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Above average overall.
