To celebrate their 5th anniversary our friends at Saraveza hand smoked some pilsner malt over maple wood and we used it in this delicious German style Oktoberfest lager.

On tap at Breakside. Pours a clear dark copper color with a medium white head. The aroma is light smoke, some pils malt. The flavor is a great unique Oktoberfest: honey sweet malts, light smoke, some Pils malt, crisp hop additions, leaves. Solid.

Draft at the source coirtesy of Douglas88, thanks! Hazy amber color, off white head. Aroma of lightly toasted biscuit. Taste is smokey charred hay and straw. Very tasty.
